Hello ladies, Miss ElevEase here! Happy New Year my darlings
Now that the Holiday season is officially over you’re probably starting to feel the holiday slump. Don’t worry ladies, I’m going to tell you some top tips on detoxing your skin to make you feel and look amazing!
Now I know not all of us are fans of exercising but; I promise you will feel so much better after a cardio powered work out! Now, this can be anything from a brisk walk to a full blown 10K run! Start off small and work your way up, sure you’re not running a marathon. Take it at a pace that works for you.
The legend is true; water is the secret to healthier looking and feeling skin. Yes a lady, H2O is the Holy Grail. In the winter months it can be more difficult to stick to your 4-5 cups of water daily, it’s cold, you’re cold… not a good combination. Instead, try sipping hot water, not only will this keep you nice and toasty in the winter, it’ll help maintain that beautiful healthy glow on your skin (Not to mention no dry skin patches!). Just a little guideline, it is said to drink ½ your body weight of water, sounds impossible? Not really! On your way to work, rather than having a coffee, bring a cup of warm water with a slice of lemon!
3. Face Mask
Face masks are a great way to detoxify your skin and get rid of any dullness or spots! Mud masks fantastic and below are some quick and easy home recipes that you can whip up in minutes.

- Add on face and sit for 10-15 minutes
- When the clay mask has dried, wash the mask off with a face cloth and warm Alternatively, you can use other face masks, like the avocado Mask:
Steaming is a great way to open your pores and clear any impurities. The easy method of steaming your face is simple:
- Boil warm water
- Place it carefully into a bowl
- Gently ease your face over the bowl
- Put a towel over your head covering the bowl and your face
Alternatively, you can make a lovely warm bath with essential oils. This will allow your skin to breathe and get all the toxins out of your body.
5. Go for the healthier option
The proof is in the pudding girls, going green is better for you! Now you don’t have to immediately cut everything out but decrease the amount of junk food you eat. Instead of snacking on that chocolate bar try a cup of unsalted nuts, they’re more nutritious for you and will keep you feeling full for longer. Don’t forget the leafy greens! Instead of a plate of chips try substituting them for a mixed salad.
And there you have it!
Keeping it clean,
